Why do i feel like i am falling down on to my bed when i am sleeping?
its like the movie Beverly Hills Ninja where the dude comes back to his body and it forces him to fall down. When i am sleeping and posssibly having a dream, all of the sudden i feel like i fell onto my bed from a high distance and it causes me to wake up, and i could feel my self bouncing from the springs on the mattress, it is kind of like a very strong flinch. And no,, i dont stand up on my bed when i am sleeping and fall down. Why does this happen?
What you are talking about is a benign "condition" called a sleep start or a hypnic jerk. I hesitate to use the word condition because these are incredibly common — around 70% of people have these.
What happens is that the whole body jerks one or two times right before sleep onset or during light sleep. This is often accompanied by a feeling of falling or a sensory flash — like lights or a tingling sensation. While they are common in people, they are more common in people with Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) or people who are sleep-deprived.

that happens to me too !! i dont know why it just happens and you like jerk awake right ? im not usre really but dont worry your not the only one, this happens to others too
