*MTG Question* Suggestions for my Budget Sligh Soldier deck and/or my budget Red Deck Wins deck?
Let me know if you don’t think Sligh works with WW.

I have a 5-drop in there only because the Pikemasters’ abilities don’t stack. I’ve also been debating putting in K Aeronaut over K Blademaster, what do you think? Should I put Journey to N in over ORing?

I understand there are better soldier cards out there (Ranger of E, Elspeth, Ajani, P2E, C of the Watch, H of the Pure, etc), but this is strictly a budget deck.

SLIGH SOLDIERS:

4 Akrasan Squire
4 Elite Vanguard
1 Knight-Captain of Eos
4 Kor Aeronaut
2 Rhox Pikemaster
3 Steppe Lynx
4 Veteran Armorsmith
4 Veteran Swordsmith
Creatures [26]
4 Brave the Elements
3 Harm’s Way
4 Oblivion Ring
Spells [11]
2 Emeria, the Sky Ruin
21 Plains
Lands [23]

RDW:

3 Goblin Bushwhacker
4 Hellspark Elemental
4 Jackal Familiar
4 Plated Geopede
4 Raging Goblin
4 Ruinous Minotaur
Creatures [23]
3 Act of Treason
4 Burst Lightning
3 Elemental Appeal
4 Lightning Bolt
Spells [14]
15 Mountain
4 Teetering Peaks
4 Terramorphic Expanse
Lands [23]

Soldiers:
With the way this deck is built, it looks more like a creature variation on the classic red burn. As such, I would definitely go the Journey to Nowhere route over O-Ring, as I don’t see anything but Creautres or Elspeth as being much of a problem as far as opponent permanents. Personally, I’m more a fan of the Blademasters than the Aeronauts, but I can see either working depending on the situation; as such, I’d go with Blademasters and maybe sideboard the Aeronauts.

The Kngiht-Captain doesn’t really fit into the concept of this deck, but I’m not sure what to replace him with. So long as you keep his replacement low-mana, Your mana curve would be extremely small, and you could justify takes one or two Plains out. Maybe something like Howling Mine or Font of Mythos to draw faster, so late in the game, you can play multiple creatures a turn? Maybe Solemn Offering to spot-kill a green or red Expedition? Or Safe Passage, So you’ll be more likely to save Brave the Elements to make your creatures "unblockable" to the majority of your opponents creatures for a final killstroke?

Red:
I’m not a fan of Jackal Familiar, and I don’t remember what Elemental Appeal is, but you could probably use some Magma Sprays to spot-kill creatures early on, leaving more room for Lightning Bolt and Burst Lightning to target your opponent.
